We have completed the ground construction for the Juraisin Lightning Protection System for the Shibaura Institute of Technology’s new Toyosu Campus. 

 

Since this area used to be a seabed in ancient times, we discovered shells in the clay soil.  When digging during our installation, the soil would stick to the shovel and had to be removed manually each time.  In accordance with our company’s manual, we installed an earth electrode with 121 corners and needles and achieved a low value of resistance of 0.3Ω.
